Silent, safe, comfortable, and spacious, are only several words to describe our fabulous Eurocopter EC130 helicopter. This single engine helicopter is the latest of Eurocopter’s Ecureuil or “Squirrel” helicopter family of light multi-mission helicopters. The inaugural flight for this new model for Eurocopter, the EC130, was June 24, 1999.
Low Noise Emission
The EC130 is equipped with the patented Fenestron tail rotor to ensure that it meets or exceeds strict noise regulations, including the US Grand Canyon National Park standard. Its noise level is 7dB below the ICAO’s Chapter 8 level and complies with the “low external noise emission pollution” according to ICAO Annex 16 Chapter 11:< 84.3dB SEL in fly-over condition at Max Gross Weight. The main source of noise for this helicopter comes from its engine exhaust and blade-tip noise. This type of tail rotor utilizes 25% less horsepower and it is also safer and quieter than other types of tail rotors.
Cabin Space, Comfort, and Visibility
This EC130 has 23% more cabin space compared to its predecessor the A Star. The cabin’s width is approximately 2.03 meters. There are three luggage compartments on this helicopter. The left side holds up to 115 kg or 0.285 m3 space, the right side holds up to 130 kg or 0.245 m3 space, and the rear side holds up to 80 kg or 0.565 m3 space.
This helicopter comes equipped with Bose headsets, a highly efficient air conditioning system, and a 65-square-foot glass window, which provides the pilot and passengers with an unobstructed 180-degree view.

Ground transportation to/from helipad within 50 km. All charters include fuel and pilot.
- Pricing Policy
All fees (such as airport landing fees) are additional to prices and are quoted at cost. For overnight stays, there will be no charge for the helicopter itself, but accommodation for pilot(s), airport parking, and aircraft security fees may apply. Any child under 2 years of age and below 100 centimeters is welcome to sit on guardian's lap free of charge. Children 100 centimeters and taller require an individual seat. Relocation fees may apply for certain locations such as Koh Samui (฿189,795 THB) plus landing fee for Koh Samui. Relocation fee presumes that pilot can fly Phuket to Koh Samui and back within the same day, otherwise additional cost for pilot's allowance have to be paid for. - Exclusions
All applicable taxes and fees. Late arrival delay time charged . Waiting time fee is 2,800 THB/30 min., applicable between sunrise and sunset. Waiting time fee duration calculated from time of helicopter landing at destination to the take-off for the next destination or return flight. Please note, the paid waiting time is limited to 4 hrs/mission. If more is required, a minimum of 3 flight hrs/day applies, whereby waiting time fees are waived.
- Payment Policy
Credit card payments may be subject to a 3% surcharge. Payments made by checks will be accepted only if made 3 working days (before noon) prior to flight schedule date and the check is cleared. Cash or wiring directly to our account is always welcomed. Please ensure all payments are made before take-off.
Please note when paying in foreign currencies, the "selling rates" for bank notes or the "selling rates" for Bill-DD-TT, whichever applies, from Bangkok Bank's official website will be used to convert into Thai Baht on the day of actual payment. Please click here for details.
- Cancellation Policy
The current cancellation policy is as follows with the percentages indicating the fee calculated from the booked itinerary.
