Tour Description:

Phuket boasts a sparkling array of unique west coast beaches, giving you a wonderful variety of scenery from the helicopter. There are also some fantastic photo opportunities of Phuket, such as close snapshots of the Phra Puttamingmongkol Akenakkiri Buddha, also known as the Big Buddha of Phuket. This monument in Phuket is world famous and absolutely fabulous.

Following the Phuket mountain range, her forests, villages and dramatic coastline you will cruise over to Phi Phi Don, the larger of the two Phi Phi Islands, with a fascinating form that can really be appreciated from a helicopter. Phi Phi Don has twin half-moon bays, practically mirroring one another. Between these two bays lies the little village, full of charm and relaxed tourists, enthralled with Thailand, ‘the land of smiles'.

Nearby is the lesser known, but even more spectacular natural reserve, Phi Phi Leh. For such a small island, it hides some of the most amazing sights in Thailand. Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh is famous for being the secret beach, which every backpacker was seeking like a hidden treasure, in the movie, "The Beach," starring Leonardo Di Caprio. Truth be told, this beach is truly a hidden treasure and is especially spectacular while looking down from a helicopter. On the helicopter tour, you will fly over to the other side of this island, where you will find a bright turquoise bay, featured in Jurassic Park II. If these wonders around Phuket are not enough to leave you in awe, you will be pleasantly surprised to find a large cave where skilled men climb very high to retrieve bird's nests, which are considered to be a delicacy in Thailand. All of these fabulous sights around Phuket are just a few elements, which make this helicopter tour truly unforgettable.

The little islands between Phi Phi and Phuket are another lovely addition to the helicopter tour. These islands are popular for tourists to take a swim and snorkel before heading back to Phuket. However, before we return, we show you another side of Thailand and take you to serene Phang Nga Bay, with its emerald green waters and giant limestone formations, it is some of the most splendid scenery that Thailand has to offer. You may recognize James Bond Island, made famous from the James Bond movie, ‘The Man With a Golden Gun'. The helicopter will fly around this natural wonder to allow you the opportunity to capture the perfect photo. Another wonder of Thailand is the Muslim village, floating in the middle of Phang Nga Bay, alongside a giant limestone formation. This floating village is absolutely fascinating and something you may not have the opportunity to see again outside of Thailand.
